Dismissal Time is now the New York True Venture Film Festival AWARD WINNER for BEST HUMAN RIGHTS FILM! This award means so much to my team and I putting the hard work to bring this social justice story to life. But to me, the real reward was listening to the stories of others who’ve seen the movie and shared their traumatic experiences of bullying and racism in high school. The work continues on. But our story has the impact to make change one day at a time.
