THE SAXOPHONIST Wins "Best Film" at the 2018 NYJFF

One year ago, we were just at the start of production on this special project. Today, I am very excited to announce to you all that the New York Jazz Film Festival has voted us for their BEST FILM OF 2018!!!! This would not have been possible without everyone's full effort to make this project the best it can be.

The 2018 NYJFF Award Presentation is set to be held at Paris Blues on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 8pm.

Location: Paris Blues (https://parisbluesharlem.webs.com/) 2021 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd (7th Avenue) Harlem, New York (three blocks south of 125th Street)

What to Expect: This is a very relaxed jazz/blues location with live music coming in at 9pm and which you are free to enjoy. The presentation, free to the public, will occur between 8pm and 9pm where filmmakers will be able to speak on their films and are able to perform during the hour. Non-alcoholic drinks and soul food will be served as part of the event and there is a cash bar for alcohol at the club. PHOTOGRAPHS will be done on the red carpet as well throughout the evening.

One note: Since all the movies are currently playing in full on NYJFF's Facebook page, they will only be showing clips from the film as part of the presentation.
